Wednesday’s National Signing Day again proved that despite no longer being conference rivals, the Longhorns and Aggies haven’t forgotten about each other.
And that goes for players who have yet to even sport a UT or A&M jersey.
Lamar High School star defensive back Holton Hill, who on Wednesday morning made his commitment to the Longhorns official, took to Twitter shortly thereafter to rile up his newest rivals with a photo of the score the last time UT and Texas A&M faced off: a 27-25 Longhorns win in 2011 that was capped by Justin Tucker’s game-winning field goal as time expired in College Station.

Hill, No. 182 on the ESPN 300 rankings, is rated as a four-star prospect by major recruiting sites 247sports.com, rivals.com and scout.com. Additionally, ESPN has the cornerback rated as the 14th-best nationally at his position and as the 17th-best overall player in the state.
